Early on in her training, Dr. Tang worked professionally as an applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapist for children with autism. She has led research projects related to autism, taught various classes at the university level, and has worked on additional research projects on pediatric chronic illness, substance abuse, and hypnosis. She has brought her expertise in autism and other developmental differences to conduct culturally sensitive psychological assessment for California Regional Centers and the Olivia's Place Foundation in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
